HOME OFFICE FURNITURE / Working desk & wall shelf

A custom home office designed and fabricated entirely from solid white oak, combining a wall-mounted shelving system with a desk-side storage cabinet to create an integrated workspace. The furniture explores the possibilities of solid oak through soft curves, carefully proportioned details, and a distinctive dual-curved slatted enclosure. The vertical slats continue through the curved form and around the lower cabinet, creating a continuous rhythm while accommodating a pull-out work surface. Custom drawer organization and concealed cable management are integrated throughout, keeping the workspace clean and functional. A drawer pull made from wood personally collected by the client was incorporated into the piece, adding a meaningful connection to their personal history. Built as a one-of-a-kind piece specifically for the client, the project combines traditional woodworking techniques with a contemporary architectural approach to storage and workspace design, while allowing personal materials and details to become part of the furniture itself.
